    Lots of problems figuring out the ridge.

    Generally the hot September days feature stronger offshore winds too, further making the days more tolerable.

    The heat blast out in day 15 on the gfs reminds me of the elusive arctic blasts in the winter. definitely looks like an opportunity for the GOA ridge to give way to a deepening trough out around the 20th.
