I get the feeling july won’t be too wet maybe close to average but may feature a lot of marine layer days. I also get the feeling we may squeeze in a shortlived heatwave somewhere in there too.

It was a lot easier with all the glaciers here back in the day.

Yeah was pretty nice today…good to get some sunshine before we go back to the gloom the next couple days.

66/50 today…looks like it may rain here again shortly but we will see.

Maybe we can get some monsoon energy into the region this summer to help out with that.

Also noticed the drought map looks better in Oregon.

64 and partly cloudy here…had a rain shower a bit ago to push us to 0.05” on the day and 3.32” for the month. Still some shower activity to the south.

Euro and gfs had us fairly dry in Tacoma this weekend with about 0.10” of precip but have slowly gotten wetter. Both are 0.40-0.50” now.

There’s a pretty good chance we are gonna beat the record from 2010. Gfs says no.

Low of 50 this morning 0.02” so far.

With any luck we might see the sun for the first time since last august next week.

Had a little rain just now again but nothing measurable.

Mean temp this month is down to 58.2 currently.

Looks like we did briefly get to 60 but down to 59 now. So 60/46 today with 0.01” of rain and 3.27” this month.

18z is pretty wet for the willamette valley with a TWL special.

High water mark so far here is 74…and we’ve got to 70 just 4 times so far this year. Pretty good chance today will be our 3rd sub 60 high this month the most since June 2012.

Looks like we also probably maxed out at 59 here. 58 and wet ground here.

Then why come on here and make it political like you have several times recently if you actually feel that way?That seems pretty conflicting to me.

Do you even do anything here besides try and cause problems? I’ve never seen you contribute anything of value other than trying to stir problems up. There is actual climate problems going on. We’re doing just fine here for the most part in OR and WA…the real crisis is down in the SW.

Got down to 47 here this morning…cloudy and 52 currently. Slightly bummed the models have pulled back on precip here this weekend but we don’t really need it as much as it’s needed down south in the Eugene area anyways.
