  1. If I found someone that did, would that change your mind?
  2. Did you watch him before he left the first time?
  3. ATC is not the same as corporate airlines. This is a government job just like ours in the US. They get pensions, have good social programs (like all the French), lots of time off (like all French), and are paid fairly well (100k euros). They ended up getting what they wanted I guess cause it got called off after the threat.
  4. I know @roadtonowhere08 might disagree, but this is what I mean when I say I get frustrated with France's work culture. France's air traffic control strikes ground flights across Europe | Reuters My sisters flight from Detroit got cancelled and we were planning to meet at about the same time to go in the same rental car.
  5. AKA I don't care about our laws. What makes it a Kangaroo court other than that's what your King tells you? He was literally an unindicted co-conspirator in Cohen's Federal indictment that he pleaded guilty and went to jail for. The current NY trial is about Trump falsifying business records to hide his aforementioned accused federal crimes of illegal campaign contributions. So ya, it's fair to say it isn't the same thing. But certainly related. What's your point? Immunity is immunity and you have not made distinguishes between his criminal accusations. You just scream crucifixion.
  6. But if a jury finds they broke a law, that's not 'persecution' which I think is the word you mean? How it works is literally in our Bill of Rights. Just admit that you think Trump should be fully immune to a jury but no one else shouldn't. Cohen went to jail for literally the exact same thing Trump is currently being accused of. Was that a 'crucifixion™'? You seem to worship this man.
  7. Will that change it he's found guilty? Cause that's how ours laws and juries work.
  8. And then there's everyone's favorite corrupt Justice. Only the best and brightest for SCOTUS.
  9. Wasn't an insult to anyone. People who have to repress their true feelings can act out in strange/overcompensated ways like bragging about boning their wife on a weather forum. Similar to the politicians who go ham on anti gay legislation but end up being closeted homosexuals. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outrage_(2009_film)
  10. If I didn't know better, you were a repressed homosexual acting out by grossly overcompensating wherever you can, including on this forum.
  11. Lol. Why is 4 even an option? I think we all have biases we need to be self-aware of, especially if it affects those around us. Have kids gotten poor grades only because of the color of their skin? Absolutely. But I think there are better ways to address those biases racial disparities than to remove grading all together Related, I don't agree with Seattle Public Schools recent decision to get rid of the Gifted and Talented program. My son is going to be a (relative) genius kindergarter in the public schools not because he's smart or gifted (tbd), it's because his parents have time and mental space to read to him. And teach him numbers early. And sound letters. It's hard to do that when you're struggling to just put food on the plate. As my primary school teacher wife says, there's no such thing as a gifted and talented first grader. It's 100% privilege at that age. That percentage goes down as he gets older, but it absolutely will always help until the day he dies. so #2/#3 is my answer I guess.
  12. I've always wanted to be on a jury - have never been summoned and I am 40 years old. sad face
  13. nugget of truth = he wrote a book that you don't agree with conspiracy = The book is affecting school policies everywhere and the libs are therefore bringing down the white folks.....sorry, I mean the "working Folx"
  14. If it's all facts, then why the h*ll does each article have this disclaimer at the beginning? What you linked are small nuggets of truth extrapolated into something insane that you eat up. It is a classic far right media strategy and is the basis of how most conspiracy theories are created. It's no coincidence the people on here don't believe in getting the COVID vaccine are also the ones who spam "news" like that.
  15. "here's 10 links of some random people on the internet with an opinion"
  16. You are a walking Breitbart ad based on my 2 mins of.browsing their front page.
  17. We liked this dramatic change of weather TOO MUCH for you. Not sure you'll ever be ok with other people's feelings about weather.
  18. Dust or pollen? Pretty bad here right now.
  19. First of all, that article was about more than just the lunch issue - they're trying to pass laws to reduce workers' compensation when injured on the job and reducing unemployment. Second, how does telling people who work they don't need a lunch break being on the side of the worker, as you like to claim to be? The people who wanted the LA law changed were the rich fat cats you sh*t on in previous (and I'm sure future) posts. See what you say about Tim. See what you said about my aunt. You couldn't be more of a fraud if you tried.
  20. I'm not the one who constantly uses that phrase as if you're the spokesperson of every person who works. Aka a fraud, just like that senate candidate.
  21. This G.O.P. Senate Candidate Says He Grew Up on a Family Farm. Not Exactly. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/04/19/us/politics/dave-mccormick-farm-pennsylvania.html?unlocked_article_code=1.lk0.HeJZ.eU8fShmxtL54 At least @SilverFallsAndrew is not alone in pretending to understand anything about what "working folks" actually means.
  22. so...not all working people. I'm totally shocked the fraudster is a fraud with his words yet again.
