PNW December 2022, winter might be coming; but mostly canceled.

Went to High School in Leavenworth, absolutely loved the 4 seasons. Many good memories even though such a thing as a “snow day” didn’t exist for school. Would move back in a heartbeat if possible. -

Went for a little walk and it is getting crunchy after a day of drips and drops. Gave myself a snow day and worked from home. Watched kids pulling their sleds down to our local sledding hill as school was cancelled. Just one of those magical days that looks like it is going to finish with a pretty sunset. Between Issaquah and Renton Highlands a little under 500 ft -

43 degrees here. My daughter made it out of North Bend this morning! Took them two days to shovel out the cars and driveway and a snow plow made it into their neighborhood yesterday afternoon. She said there was black ice everywhere at 7:30 coming home and a few detours between Issaquah and our house as some roads are still closed with downed trees. EDIT: apparently a family member was driving down in to Issauquah, so they left at the same time so they would be able to help each other if one got stuck -
High of 39 today and currently at 32. Snowplow was able to get up here at 1:30 this morning and left a small mountain range blocking my front driveway ....so we dug out the back driveway Our road still has a couple of downed trees partially blocking the road and a few scattered cars in ditches, so the plowed road is one lane in places. It was good to get out and do a store run though. Tomorrow we tackle the front driveway...

Holding steady at 35, calm with just the sound of dripping when I go outside
-
Still holding at 34 degrees no precip right now, there are a few breaks in the clouds with the sun shining through and I've noticed a lot more dripping off the trees hills between Renton and Issaquah - 630 ft EDIT: Just went up to 35 degrees
-
My daughter is staying with a friend in North Bend and sent me this pic, I guess I won't be seeing her for a bit - enjoy Hawaii!!

Back down to 34 from 36 and has started snowing fairly hard again hills between Renton and Issaquah - 630 ft
-
Up to 36 degrees now and things are starting to look a little drippy, a very light mix is falling hills between Renton and Issaquah - 630 ft

Up to 34 degrees now and wet snow coming down - have lost track of measurements, but what you see in the driveway is roughly the last 48 hours. No plows here since yesterday, so the snowmobile you see on the road is one way the neighborhood is getting around, that and 4WD, ATVs and quads... none of which we have hills between Renton and Issaquah
-
Just went up from 32 to 33 here and still snowing - can you find the two cars in my front driveway?
-
Woke up because the power keeps going out and coming back on - 31 and snowing, haven't measured yet but this path was shoveled last night ....and the car in the front driveway is just a vaguely car shaped mound, I'll have to get a picture of it went it is lighter out hills between Renton/Issaquah
-
Snow is picking up again and temp moved back down from 31 to 30 hills between Renton/Issaquah
-
Snow is getting a little lighter and temp has gone up from 30 to 31 hills between Renton/Issaquah
-
I've heard 5 transformers go now and the power keeps flickering.... time to dust off the generator still snowing, still holding at 30 but getting breezier
-
Hasn't stopped snowing hard and down to 30 just now
