  1. One last band of heavy precip approaching the Seattle area.
  2. I’ve seen signs of a changeover today, but now heavier precip has moved in and its all snow again.
  3. Pic of my street from tonight. I measured about 9" of total accumulation this afternoon. Not too shabby.
  4. Does the European model predict any freezing rain in Seattle tomorrow or Monday?
  5. Found this clip of what I presume is only an example of the damage in the Willamette Valley. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psjaMmrJvW0
  6. Flake size has increased here in the last 15 minutes or so. First time I’ve anything other than powder.
  7. Looks like some heavier precip is coming from the southwest.
  8. I think Jbolin’s earlier estimate of 10” for West Seattle is pretty accurate; my yard is absolutely buried. I’ll go out and measure later on.
  9. Seeing some larger flakes mix in with the snow in Chehalis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfGaUembwA8
  10. Yeah, at 4 pm KBFI was reporting a relative humidity of 51% and a dp of 16. At the latest update the humidity is 88% and the dp has risen to 22 degrees. Meanwhile the temperature has fallen from 32 to 25.
  11. Do you think that as time goes on we might see some wetter snow and larger snowflakes, or do you think it will be dry powder throughout?
