  1. How can you have a reload without the first? What am I missing here?
  2. Is this the last night of greater then 50F weather at night? What's up with these strings of super warm mins? Aren't we suppose to be in the middle of a -PNA? Someone on here said so not too far back. I swear it was Snow Whizard but it could've been Phil who's into that kind of thing.
  3. If so do you use the same username or are you under another? Just curious how far you've expand your horizons. There really seems to be no central place to find weather forums. It's also sad the US has the shaft on weather forums where there is a lot of international places to discuss things and by discuss things I mean actually IN DEPTH analyst kind of discussion and it can be like being on cocaine where once you get into it it's hard to stop!
  4. Hi. What's the flow we are under to cause such warm mins? It's STILL above 55F out!
  5. It seems pretty good for a basic source and the HD videos are VERY gorgeous and his voice is relaxing. I love his charts and graphics showing the temps and rainfall patterns of these climate zones that inhabit our planet and affect each other. . Here's our type of climate. Edit: For some reason no matter which series I put up it always reverts to the intro any work around or is it something he did? Edit again! I went to the Oceanic one directly and I'll try ONE more time to get the right one. Yay! It works! By God it really works! Now why does the playlist always revert to the intro?
  6. What would be the best way to alter this for a cold wet scenario that increases the risk of snow in the winter? The Jessie pattern on steroids I dream over? God I'd love an early 50s on steroids climate regime! This decade sucks! Global Warming sucks!
  7. I have several hundred saved for getting something good at the end of this year or next year if perhaps something better comes for the next gen stuff or MS Flight comes out with a very good add on.etc.. What do you recommend as far as flight sims go for geography but most of all good weather/climate modeling? I can sacrifice graphics for a good one that will work on modern computers like mine? Serious replies only. Does the new one fit the bill or does P3D4 be better? I already have Xplain 11 and FSX on Steam and have an old Satiek flight yoke thingy from back when Microsoft's Century of Flight was good which I think that was their best one as far as I know due to their historical aircraft from different time periods. ALL feature Real Time Weather even the Century of Flight did which is how I discovered the real time weather method.
  8. Looks like a bunch of inverted Molduga Fin's you collected. Going Molduga hunting there? https://zelda.fandom.com/wiki/Molduga_Fin. They make for very good elixers when cooked with things that require 'monster parts' but Molduga's are a pain in the butt to kill unless you know what your doing after a lot of broken weapons later. Edit: I can't find the original post of his. Also here is the music to the Moldgua. Pretty good beat! The Age of Calamity (new) prequel has an even better version when you watch the Treehouse stream of the gameplay footage in the desert they Gerudo summon the Molduga using loud noises to scare away the Yiga Clan attacks and they all run away when it appears from the ground.
  9. Any way to see on models the kind of conditions that permit that? Did I say something against the forum rules?
  10. That's the year we recently had a lot of frosty roofs! It seemed to me there was a recent year we had a lot of white frost on roofs more then usual. It seemed it wouldn't end. It was very weird waking up to everything being white even though it was NOT snow.
  11. Did the central valley get any 'snow' flurries out of it? Before the turn of the century San Francisco used to semi frequently get snow flurries and even sticking snow in the higher hills like Telegraph Hill.https://thestormking.com/Sierra_Stories/San_Francisco_Snowstorms/san_francisco_snowstorms.html#:~:text=San Francisco's all-time record, snow was 7 inches deep.
  12. Willamette Valley. Though Stockton can get pretty chilly too. Look at the summer of 1955! A lot of chilly nights thru the summer and never any real sustained hot spells.
  13. Central Valley. We get cold air drainage at the right times. Already got to 39F before the fire crap happened and we went to this pattern. How early can we have a hard white frost? Also does an Artic Airmass provide that 'white' look or are the dew points too low because the December 2010 cold wave the grass remained green the entire time. Unless you stepped outside there wasn't any way to know we were under a sharp cold spell.
  14. Look. I just want to know how severe of a frost we are talking about for next week. Is it the bring your plants in and we're done kind or just a slight ground frost? Would it even be enough to create a layer on the ground? I never experienced a 'chilly' October except 2003 and it was too 'dry' for any actual frost.
  15. How severe of a frost are we talking about for next week's Euro? Snow Whiz makes it sound like a hard frost both air and ground AKA: Killing freeze but it seems rather early.
  16. Serious about what? What kind of frost are we likely to get out of the pattern depicted for next week? Just a slight ground/roof frost or a full heavy one where it can look like light 'fake' snow the ground? My favorite is the latter but I'll accept the former.
  17. At this time of the year are we talking about ground frosts or severe air frost with air temp appropriate for such conditions? Also would this translate to hoar frost? Do we even get hoar frost here or does that require a special setup?
  18. MET summary time! Wet? Mild SW stinky flow time to hold your nose or put on a mask?
  19. What's Silver spork? Sorry you lost me in your technical lingo. Anyways this 'traffic light' if that's what you want to call it did NOT work! But it did do a D**n good job of irritating everybody!
  20. How are there mets? I used to live in Chico/Paradise and we had Andy who would show not only the jet stream but where it was the days before and where it's forcasted to be. Compared to just static models. It provided a much bigger picture and we were shocked when we moved up here and nobody talked about the jet stream anymore.
  21. And are there any others I didn't list? I posted this on another weather forum which I copied over. What are your favorite and least favorite "besides this one* weather forums? For the PNW the best places (though not very active) are Cliff Mass (he seems to have an axe to grind with certain people and viewpoints) but otherwise is very good with his knowledge and has meetings in a lot of places though I don't know much about him except his big long blog about being censored then fired from the University of Washington. Anyways there's also The Weather Forums.com Blogs there is KPTV Weather blog for Portland Oregon not very active but worth seeing when Mark makes an update but it seems to require him to kick the ball down the road to get anything started. For Seattle it's mostly weird blogs I don't really go to for no reason other then it's hard to remember and infrequent updates. https://komonews.com/weather/scotts-weather-blog https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...ZYrkhOVnOjJ315 https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...y91oE7XtVilf8D For national weather there is this forum we are on and Accuweather Forums which were dying years ago with most threads from before 2015 when the internet changed a lot and went against private forums and except for the UK ones I didn't realize down under had any until last year. For the UK there are quite a few options actually!!!https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=...4dUDCAw&uact=5 https://www.netweather.tv/forum/ UK Weatherworld - UK weather forecasts, warnings and Discussion forums https://ukweatherwatch.co.uk/ https://jpweather.community/ New Zealand even has these! https://www.weatherforum.nz/phpBB3/ with archives back to 03! Here is the very first index ever! https://www.weatherforum.nz/phpBB3/v...7e7be4cb190870 with a VERY strong emphasis in climate study. https://communityweather.org.nz/ New Zealand Local Weather Forum (Is this even a forum?) I can't figure out it's style and it has the least amount of content. And Australia down under has a bunch of these to chew on! https://www.ski.com.au/forum/weather-forums.html https://www.theaustralianweatherforum.com/forum/ https://www.ausweatherforum.com/ https://www.weatherforum.com.au/forum/ BSCH - Australian Weather Chat Weatherzone though it seems to have closed whatever this place was? http://forum.weatherzone.com.au/logo-weatherzone.png The Weatherzone forum has now closed. We would like to thank everyone who contributed over the past 18 years. You can still find us at weatherzone.com.au or if you would like to continue the discussion you can follow us on Facebook and Twitter or participate in discussions at AusWeather or Ski.com.au forums.
  22. How else do you do it? If you don't remember there used to be LOTS of topics on here a long time ago back in the older forums talking about various events. The 'forecast' threads were the funniest with the most dumb names.
  23. How similar is your climate to Aumsville/Stayton area probably?

    1. Omegaraptor

      Omegaraptor

My area is on the west side of the Willamette Valley, while Aumsville and Stayton are on the east side. Your area might get more rain in NW flow than mine. How much rain did you get in May?
