nah euro has us getting a good thumping around 6 inches for this thread's system currently. At most it predicted like 4 inches for SW michigan for todays system. So there's a discrepancy between canadian and euro for michigan unless the time valid on the canadian map is before the system is over for us

theres like an 8 inch difference between euro and canadian for SW michigan though. whats going on with that?

picked up between 1.5 - 2 inches last night. went outside when a moderately heavy band was over us and it was great! One thing so far ive noticed about a midwest/lake effect spot winter is how relatively often it is to have 1-2 inchers a couple times a month. Really helps my mental health lol

Should be noted that there’s question as to whether or not it will be cold enough for many of us in this sub to support this significant snow storm. Temp trends for this period continue to get warmer bc ofc they are. Maddening in the heart of winter.

snowfall has stopped already here; they were forecasting it to go on til evening but there's zilch on radar. Probably around 0.5 inches on grassy surfaces. It was prettier this morning before the melting began

Yeah this didn’t pan out simply bc it’s too warm. Above freezing and snow melting faster than falling. Only bout .5 inches on the ground only on grassy surfaces

i feel you. I just want one event that will yield me more than 2 inches of snowfall in one day. Haven't had that yet, and though the cold may be coming, just praying storms stop missing us.

crazy there hasn't been a day where there's been greater than 2 inches of snowfall yet (at least for kzoo). hoping february saves us from being on the wrong side of history
