Time to be afraid!

The soil moisture in central Oregon is still below average. I was noticing that today. It can take years to recover from a severe drought. We aren’t fooling around here! (Dramatic enough?)

Oh yeah. Though late summer is more humid than say, Oklahoma, it’s not quite as hot and there can be some cool days. We had a clipper come through once when I was there and it was lovely for a couple of days afterwards.

My grandmother lived across the river from you in Ironton. It was always hot in the summer when we visited. Putridly humid!

Wow the tables have turned

Some would say this is just theatrics and you are losing your mind!

40 and cloudy. Yesterday was a complete blessing. The land drank it up!

But but but but but it rained the other day. It can’t be droughty now. The one percent had to stay in their mansions all day!

They need every freaking drop they can get. They are in constant crisis. We’ve destroyed our planet. We need water to HEAL.

Could be much worse, and they desperately need the moisture.

Winning powerball ticket was sold in Oregon. Not me though, I never play.

AI EURO is really struggling. As the EURO often does. Garbage in, garbage out.

Next weekend looks very promising on the 06z GFS!

Willamette Basin snow pack bumped up to 113% of average. Harney basin is now at 169%, Owyhee is at nearly 200% of normal. Incredibly blessings for a much maligned region.

If we're still kicking we will probably head down to Weed to see the 2045 eclipse. My wife is inheriting a shack down there, so we can watch it from our hovel. By then I will be two days shy of my 61st birthday, my wife will be 56.

Harney Basin is at a shocking 163% of normal.

Willamette basin snow pack is 110% of normal.

Operational GFS is still OK for next weekend.

Group think pervades in urban areas. It’s in all of our interests to dilute their influence.

I’m not gonna tell you how to live your life, but that’s what I would do.
