    55/34 here. Only 0.40" of rain the past two days, but thunderstorms on back to back days which is a very rare feat.

    I don't know if I posted, but there was a tremendous thunderstorm yesterday evening which knocked out power for all of Silverton. My power was out for about 8 hours. Another big t-storm this evening. Was causing some street flooding when I was in Keizer around 5p.

    Some light rain this morning. I took a walk at the park near my office in a light jacket and hardly got wet in 45 minutes. Yesterday was beautiful. Got a little yard work done after work.

    Good news is Nurk suffered no ligament, muscle, or nerve damage to his leg. Just the broken bones. Horrific injury nonetheless.

    My first impression is that it was the work of vandals. It would take quite a bit of wind to cause that type of damage which makes a dust devil or something similar unlikely IMO. Looks like a beautiful area/property.
