  1. Yeah. It's very strange. Must be a reason but I can't think of what it might be.
  2. There will be one game on Monday, January 15th this year.
  3. My daffodils are about three weeks ahead of scheduled.
  4. Winter may come to the Central and Eastern parts of the US in January. Will the PNW get clipped for a few days of winter fun? Fingers crossed.
  5. Be bold! Declare it now. Seahawks all the way. Next week we crush the Iggles.

  7. Seahawks are balling out today. In Drew Lock we trust. Looks like they could win this one. Maybe a let down game for San Fran today after crushing the Eagles?
  8. Had a little lumpy rain today out on the South Hill of Puyallup. That camera from Leavenworth magical. Probably not an easy drive to get there from the west side though.
  9. I"m ready for a good long soaking rain. I can't believe anything for mid December at this point when the day to day forecast is a continuous bust. Where is the big wind storm for this afternoon? No show?
  10. I expected soaking rain Friday. Didn't happen. Then Saturday I expected soaking rains. Not so much. Santa parade was quite nice actually. Then I thought today was supposed to be soaking rains. So far no soaking rain and temps in the mid to upper 50's. Might have to cut the grass soon and spread some mulch on my daffodil bulbs that are starting to peak out. For sure there will be soaking rains on Monday, right?
  11. Has this been a really dry El Nino? Usually it rains for weeks on end and my back yard floods several times. Nice and dry with cold nights. Odd.
  12. Worst Husky defense in a long long time. Hit people and don't wrap them up and tackle.
  13. The National Weather Service says there could be some very light precipitation early tomorrow morning on top of some very cold roadways. Watch out for some slippery conditions in the south sound.
  14. We have seen some quick hitter large snowfall events during El Nino winters. I think that will happen this go round two. A couple three days of good heavy wet snow followed by warm rain and flooding. Pretty good bet.
  15. 53 this morning in the Puyallup Valley Shaping up to be a nice day That crisp morning air is so refreshing
  16. Don't let the old man in. When he rides up on his horse And you feel that cold bitter wind Look out your window and smile Don't let the old man in. Heard this song a few days ago and it hit. Enjoy each day, rain or shine and post up some local observations. Life goes by fast. Can't change the weather or what it is or isn't going to do. 62 here in the Puyallup Valley and very pleasant. It's going to get chilly tonight me thinks.

  21. I love the fair and all it's glorious food. Scones and Krusty Pups for me. The fair comes to me every year. I have no choice living mere blocks from the beast.
