Lots of things are. I wonder when the first snow is coming if they evar do again.

Today I was 100/24. Bad enough. I've experienced a humid 95/70 before too and they both suck. Regardless, when it's constantly sunny all day, like it is here, you can add almost 20 degrees to the temp in the sun so it's very comparable when out in it.

Phil may say it's a dry heat which it is but when it's triple digits it's hot no matter what. Next few weeks here, rinse repeat, rinse repeat.

I'm over this heat. 100 here in Redmond and the forecast just slightly cools over the next week to low 90's then back up again. I need to move to Newport.

Central Oregon. Redmond

I for one have a/c and it's almost a necessity here. Streaks of mid 80's-upper 90's are a common theme here under constant sunshine for weeks. I've used my a/c about a dozen times all day already and looks to continue for the foreseeable future. Hot and dry summers are the norm here.

If it's so so bad, move.

What do you think Phil, some on here put you on that scale, do you feel like you're on Marks perch?

When models get fidgety, the "forums" get fidgety, I usually just trust Mark in his forecasts. The dude is almost always spot on and brings reality back, especially inthe winter. Wait a minute, I trust his forecasts more than all anyways.... not sure what I was just saying.

Strange why you care so much 2700 miles away. Baffling really.

I was driving just south of Madras today and was caught up in that dust storm that caused a multi car pileup on 97. What a windy day, I recorded a gust of 48 but nit wasn't the high speeds, it was the frequency. Just constant all day and still is. To add to the conversation up above, it's usually graupel that is so common this late I the year. I've lived in Redmond for about 8 years and have seen graupel quite frequently late in the spring here, June as well.

Swamp

Got down to 28 in Redmond this morning. Tuesday morning looks the coldest of the week though.

Sunny quite a bit. Around 275 "sunny" days a year. Been really gloomy and cloudy though since early December. The growing season is really short.

I've heard from locals here that it has snowed on the 4th of July here. I doubt some of these old guys though.

I may have to water the lawn today. I don't want to burn it though. Decisions decisions.

I like to go on vacation and post about the weather at home as much as possible.

It's so nice outside today, why are you posting so much? Seems you may like to just gripe about the weather than really enjoy it. Doesn't make sense.
