By dry, I mean low dews that come with continental air. Of course, I would absolutely love several huge dumps of snow.

May this winter be filled with endless ridging (if it isn't going to be bone-chillingly dry and cold).

Likely but if not, then I'd at least expect summers to average consistently in the 88F-90F range while still averaging 72F here with some morning drizzle.

Yes, moreso than Nanaimo itself. Even the west side of that little island is more lush than the eastern side.

There are tons and tons of oaks on Newcastle Island just off of Nanaimo. Weird little microcosm there.

I am merely remarking that it has been very wet and depressing where I live, so I would also like a change to drier and *gasp*, sunnier weather. Other people are allowed to cheer for weather you don't like.
