The 00 GFS shows a nice all day snow event on Saturday up this way, thats good to see.

There is maybe 2 TV weather(people) locally that are actually Meteorologists now. Jeff Renner is one I know of. I could be wrong, but most are just faces with a bit of knowledge.

See my post above. I overall still like the chances of a decent snowfall, and I am hoping the Chehalis Gap can help me as it has in the past. I just wish the models were a bit more aggressive right now, but I know we have alot of time.

I am trying reverse psychology on this one. The latest trends are concerning at this point though.

Radar shows a little slug of moisture about to move over here, fingers crossed for a little of the white stuff. Edit: Light flurry now.

I was thinking that earlier, thats why I am hoping that it holds off til after the game. Rain is likely til 8 pm IMO then transition to snow after if the moisture can hold together. I have been watching the Forks observation, it has been raining there for a little while now. Just waiting to see how much influence the moisture has on temps since 925s are below zero.

Its 44 in Hoquiam, 45 here. Pretty much what I figured it would be for todays highs. I think temps will fall quickly late this afternoon and evening, especially when precip gets going

Fine with me, I just hope it holds together as it moves south. NWS has changed my forecast to chance of snow overnight, was just chance of rain. But if it can get through the strait before southerly movement kicks in then who knows what will happen.

The moisture over the pacific is looking more and more organized, could get interesting this evening and overnight.

Precip starting to pick up offshore and northwest of here. But is make slow progress South and West, which will hopefully bode well and hold off til tonight mostly.

I don't live down there, so none of that helps me.

Not real impressed with snow totals on WRF tonight, but thats ok, still a week away.

I am with ya on that, but if it shows 6-12 now I think it will increase as the week goes on.
