Down to 38 degrees and still raining. The rain has not let up once since 8am this morning.

I keep talking about it because it was the last large event for the Puget Sound area...I’m getting antsy!

Yeah I’m 100% with you on that...cannot wait until we can escape the wet and mud.

Also the hell of an ice storm for parts of Western WA while we remained snow up here.

I ended up with a fabulous 18” by the end of that week.

Very ugly. Let’s get this ridge pumping!! I will take anything over this 39 degree rainfest.

So true! Coming up on 6yrs since our last big event is really making me twitchy however!

I had a sloppy dusting! I keep forgetting just how epic it has been for parts of Oregon over the last 6yrs. Perhaps that will continue this season.

How funny and sad would it be if the ridge just parked itself right over us until mid March!

I won’t believe it until I see picture evidence of Tims frosty dead (dormant) roses.

I really wish something...anything frozen would start showing up in the models.

For the record I do believe Phil is going to be spot on this season. Oh and it suddenly got windy outside!

I have VHS tapes of snowy news coverage from January 1996, November 1996, and December 1996 for Phil’s viewing pleasure during his trip up there!

At least it might be too cold there to launch his ICBM!

I would take Dec. 1990 over 1996 due to longevity but would take a 2008 over a 1990 due to longevity...but at the end of the day I would be more than happy with a 1990, 1996, 1998, 2008...and even so desperate that I would take a Dec. 2016!!!! Anything other than boring drizzle and 44 degrees day after day!

At least the the rain finally stopped before we left La Conner!

I had a ton of non sticking snow at 500ft and it was so incredibly frustrating.

It’s just an annoyance when you are trying to walk the shops in La Connor and it’s just dumping so trying to keep the 3yr old somewhat dry is a challenge. Looking forward to next week’s dryness!

41yrs of being wet and cold! I’m fine with a wet soggy November but it’s now December and I’m ready to dry off a bit!

Having a family day up in La Connor...I cannot wait for a dry day. Ugly.
