  1. That event will not rely on super cold 850s for snow. Overrunning events depend on offshore flow and low level cold air. Mostly just watch the temperatures up above like 850 to see if you are going to get snow/freezing rain/sleet.
  2. Like I said, I wouldn't worry about that yet. There is too much that can/will change between now and then.
  3. This will definitely be the case for the potential over running system mid week. Events like that are tough to forecast even 24 hours out. We will have to see how much low level cold air we can get in here and what the low is going to be like. Still really have no idea what is going to happen.
  4. Yeah, well there is a razor thin margin of error for this event to get low level snow. Everything kind of needs to go perfect for sticking snow. That means even if the models only look slightly worse, it could kill our chances. (At least for Monday-Tuesday)
  5. Good thing we don't really have to start paying attention to the details of that event for a couple of days.
  6. I was actually joking. I really disliked Taylor's. I was a really poor college student, so I didn't go out to bars that often. More like cheap beer at parties.
  7. We lost a tree in the backyard of the house we were renting. Hmmmmm. Probably Taylor's.
  8. Yeah, I was going to U of O at the time. That was a pretty odd/awesome event.
  9. Wow. The wait was worth it for the Euro. It shows Portland getting tons of snow and staying cold for a much longer time. The great battle between the Euro and GFS begins again!
  10. The Euro situation has really thrown my entire day off. Not sure if I will survive today.
  11. You should be more than intrigued. Your location is going to do really great during that timeframe.
  12. Yeah, I hope the GFS isn't leading the way on this thing. The Euro looks like a lot more fun.
  13. I just wasn't sure if you were aware of that. No biggie. I'm not telling you to stop posting them.
  14. These maps are super inaccurate btw. Most of the lowland snow is not really going to happen. It is more of a elevation issue that the model isn't picking up on.
