The 12z definitely looks better for the overrunning event. Northern Washington stays snow for quite a while on this run.

So far the gfs runs are showing a fairly fast warmup with a system to our NW. But we would still get some snow before it changed to rain.

At this point we just want the models to show consistent cold hitting us. Looking good. We all know low placement/undercutting/overrunning moisture details won't be figured out until we are actually in the cold event.

I think the 12z models are saying Thursday is going to be chilly.

Latest Euro is much warmer than the 12z. Probably more realistic.

Yeah, I typed that a little early. It gets colder by Friday. Much better compared to earlier GFS runs.

The 00z is pretty chilly for next week. Still not a full on arctic blast like the Euro is showing.
