    Yeah. Honestly the models have done this to us more often in the last 5 years than they even did when I was younger. Maybe this pattern has just been more common lately. This will join a list of other recent events where the Euro shows a major regional blast 5-8 days away and we just end up with a trickle of cold (or nothing) down here. Models still haven't mastered our weird corner of the world.

    GFS is still very far apart from the Euro solutions. Too bad, I was hoping for a bigger cold trend to emerge there today. People are probably correct that the two will meet in the middle over the next couple of days.

    The Canadians have an interesting battle of warm/cold setting up on the 12z. Much more exciting solution than the GFS is showing.

    People do help educate in here as long as you come in without an ego. I’ve learned tons of stuff on this forum over the last 15 years. You just have to have a thick skin and understand that there is a lot of sarcasm/trolling going on at the surface. Underneath that, there is a lot of really great knowledge that comes out at random times.

    Lol. Yeah, I have seen some very confident comments over the last two days. We have seen many arctic pushes in this time range get totally destroyed as we approach the event.
