From Jim Flowers' Facebook page... air mass over metro 1 deg C too warm for all snow....this band should have lead to 2" overnight with another 2" friday afternoon...could still happen as thunder concludes and we go all snow......conceivable that slush or nothing on ground early friday am with snow re-developing during am drive....

I teach in Millard in Omaha and they already called a Snow Day for tomorrow... didn't expect that.

I really wish this would come far enough south for Omaha to get some snow.

Offutt Air Force Base essentially closed and they have their own weather people.

We were planning to drive home to Omaha from Massachusetts... Leaving Monday stopping in Cleveland... And then driving the rest of the way on Tuesday. Any advice for me? When is this storm supposed to hit? Is there going to be lake effect snow as well?

I will be on Cape Cod for Christmas....50s-70s sound amazing....so that we can get outside and do some things. Hope to somehow come home to snow though....
