Had another little burst of snow this morning as the front moved through. Looks like under an inch total. Nice to see the ground all white! You guys did well down south. Congrats on the good start to the season!

12z GFS with a waste of a storm late next week. No cold air and it also stays south of the TC.

Cold front will move through today with 40mph wind gusts and snowshowers. Should create a bit of a wintry scene finally!

18z GFS is showing the system as well for 1st of the month. Let see if we can get a legit storm going.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Unfortunately I'm covid positive so I'll be set up in the bedroom. But I can still watch football and the wife will bring what I need. As for the weather it's looking very boring in the TC. Looking like no more precip for the rest of November which means we will set a record of 0.02" for the month. MPX is calling for above normal temps for the first week of Dec. Hopefully we can get some active weather going.

GFS keeps the trough going into next week with a potential clipper early next week. Nice to see the system showing back up for this weekend too.

I'm liking how the GFS is looking after this upcoming warm week. Looks like at least a couple systems to watch. I'm gonna take advantage of this warm week and finish up some yard work before winter weather sets in.

MSP is at 2.7" so far this season. This is a good debate but I'm gonna go with MSP getting more. Not cuz I live here now but still feeling like we'll have a decent season.

Low 60s next week and then it drops back off to low 40s.

The forecast was right on the money up here. We received a total of 1.95" and our Friday high was 48°. It's currently cloudy and 51°

Rain is just starting here. Wind is also picking up. Reminds me of a winter storm......just not cold enough yet Will be fun to see how this pans out in cycle 2. But for now let's see how much rainfall we can get and how much of the leaves will be dropping. Gonna be a raw day tomorrow. Upper 40s forecasted.

TC looking good for the defo band. Long duration event from Thursday-Saturday. 2-3" totals likely. Friday is looking rainy, windy and might not even crack 50°. Lot of leaves will be coming down! Bring this on in 2 months!

Forecast for Friday up here in the TC is rain, windy and 50 for a high. Local mets are calling for 1-2" from Thursday-Saturday. We'll see if the rain shield makes it this far north. Gonna be a lot of leaves coming down. Early next week looks below normal with low 50s. Fall smacked us in the face once October hit.

I didn't see the 12z run but 18z looked pretty solid for Iowa.
