At least the op Euro is still on board! Model riding is exhausting. Still having the euro show this still gives me hope.

Clown range on the 12z gfs looks promising.

GFS ensembles definitely trending in the right direction.

The operational is usually garbage in the 10-15 day range...probably better to look at the ensembles during that time.

Strongest outflow winds of the day here in Victoria right now...temp also at its lowest of the day at 38.

The rain did turn to snow but it was at the tail end of the precip so no accumulation. I'm hoping for an inch later today....we shall see. Current temp keeps bouncing around between 34 and 35 with light outflow winds.

Winds have switched to the NE at Victoria airport and the temperature is down to 41 now though. Temperatures will start to go down as soon as the winds start to shift here in the city. -

The GFS and Euro are definitely hinting at something during the Feb 25 - March 5 time frame.

It's been snowing since about 9am here in Victoria and has been pretty heavy over the last hour.

It even shows the Fraser valley getting nothing. I can't see that verifying.

We need the outflow to increase. North east winds have picked up at the airport and rain has changed to snow. Pretty calm here in Gordon head.
