It was from a height about 4 feet and stool was starting to tip over.  

It looked like this one... top step is at about 48 inches.   I didn't feel like it was a big deal when I jumped.  

I would imagine you can do plenty of damage to a healthy knee falling from 4feet.  Dr Phil, may not have realized you were 4 feet high. 

Just 0.02” of rain today.  Sun breaks and a cool breeze most of the day. 

Just 0.03” of rain yesterday and dry so far today.  Looks like we will get a few showers this afternoon though.

I'm rooting for a huge ridge to be sitting over alaska for most of our Denali climb, May 12th(weather permitting)-the end of the month/start of June. When I did my first Denali expedition back in the early 90s, we got horrible weather for almost the entire 3 week expedition, at one point temperatures were -39F with 80+MPH winds and heavy snow, and we never got a good day of weather to summit Denali, which is why I'm going back with the hope of being successful this time.

I do NOT want to experience horrible weather like that again. 

Surprised you couldn’t make the summit.  Phil did it with -40F and 81+mph winds while he was still recovering from Covid

A little over a 1/2” of rain so far.  Kind of underwhelming

34 and frosty.  I’ve had frost 6 of the last 7 mornings.  

Had some heavy showers overnight. Close to 1/4” of rain.

If it stays at 59 tomorrow instead of 60 or 61 that will make all the difference in this event.

A week ago Phil was talking about this period being a Jesse-tastic pattern.    Turns out it's a pattern almost everyone loves.

The cool dry mornings have been really nice.  Lawns are dried out for mowing almost as soon as the frost is gone.

200” of rain would be quite the blessing.  They need every drop they can get. 

The only accumulation we’ve seen here the past couple of days has been pollen.
