  1. This ultra wordy descriptive post read like something Phil would post.
  2. Has it already been 7 years since that happened.
  3. Kids won’t be able to look at the sun when they aren’t at school . That seems insane.
  4. The thought of flying across the country to see the sun go away for a couple minutes isn’t appealing to me either.
  5. They have 154 more games to try to win you over.
  6. Woke up to a dusting of snow here this morning. Wasn’t expecting that. Low of 32.5F
  7. That’s more than I got here. Picked up 0.03” with a shower just before sunrise. 33.6F for a low.
  8. The Front was totally dry up this way. Enjoy your blessings down south. 40F
  9. It could be an early start but the season is highly dependent on rain in May and June. All of those holdovers from last summer are under control.
  10. BC has 105 active wildfires. 6 new starts in the past 24 hours. At least 90 of those fires are holdovers from last season, that continued to smoulder under the winter snow cover.
  11. “April foolsed ya.” As my kids say.
  12. Is that an actual picture of mossman on his jetski in eastern Washington? Wasn’t expecting the flow. Very nice.
  13. YVR had over an inch yesterday which I believe was a record for the date.
  14. Surprised Jesse isn’t out frolicking in this beautiful rain today. I guess weather forum drama was just more tempting.
  15. I think we may have to segregate the forum by income level so that everyone can post in a comfortable and safe environment.
  16. Yes. Artificial turf though. He just has rocks covering the holes when they aren’t there. And then he has a driving range mat to hit used golf balls out into the ocean.
  17. The occasional downpour with hail falling in my office this afternoon. Sun is out now. Genoa Bay BC
  18. I’m not on the Climate disaster freight train. But the +9.4F winter that Canada just put up is hard to brush aside.
  19. I have a feeling some of the laughs may have been more to do with your often downplaying of historic warmth.
  20. That’s what I was thinking. I haven’t seen a long enough video clip to think terrorist attack. If they lost power even momentarily they were probably in a position that they could not recover from. Those big ships are not really responsive to steering especially at slower speeds, hence why tug boats often guide them into port. Also, if it was terrorist why would they choose the absolute least busy time of day to hit the bridge
  21. We don’t get 90+ humid crap here. I don’t know what it’s like to work in that but I imagine it’s not great. 80-85F with low humidity feels pretty nice in my world.
  22. I work outside and it’s not enjoyable working in the rain and it’s less productive. It takes longer to get jobs done but I still do it. I also worked during the big June heat dome a few years back. I didn’t think it was that bad. Again, not as productive time wise. Had to take a couple extra water breaks. Neither was ideal.
