I'm heading up to the Cariboo area this weekend. If the skies are clear it should be well down into the 20's during the early mornings. Clinton, BC has been 22, 23, 29, 27 the past 4 mornings.
Modelling has sure trended drier over the next couple weeks up this way. Maybe 0.1" over the next few days and then the GFS has been consistently showing dry weather the next 2 weeks.
Pretty strong offshore flow today. NE gusting to 30mph in Abbotsford. Seems unlikely that we see anymore sustained ridging this month. With the exception of a day or two here and there it seems most likely that the ridging stays to our NW.
They cancelled some of the night shifts in central BC, too cold. The firefighters reported having to break ice to get things started first thing in the morning.
