  1. I get the trepidation going into the dry season, but spring so far has been pretty nice and variable. Enjoy it as it comes then we complain once we get to our stretch where we struggle to have many days near the old summer norms.
  2. I know who you are talking about. Kinda a nut job.
  3. Eh Tim is a hypocrite but at least he provides maps and contributes to the discussion. You don’t live here and don’t contribute to the discussion, hence a troll.
  4. So true. Like the opposite of the poster from CA that couldn't more obviously be a troll.
  5. .26” so far today with potentially a little more overnight. Love getting a soaking spring rain on the high desert.
  6. Mainly mild and dry conditions across the north, with scattered showers lingering over the Cascades and south Willamette Valley through Saturday
  7. Don’t know how you can predict that now. Lightning starts, offshore events in the fall, marine influence or lack thereof. All impossible to predict. Not to mention we’re a few weeks into spring. Not saying it will necessarily be a disaster, but this is even harder than predicting winter snowpack in early October.
  8. I posted some pics. Picked about 4” here.
  9. Average is about 35” here so fairly above average this year. Interestingly, all but 1” fell after January 5th.
  10. About 4” of snow when I measured and it had settled a bit when I did. Pushes me over 4’ for total seasonal snowfall.
  11. Glad to see the one more time. Hopefully no more than 7 months until this returns. IMG_4890.mov
  12. Hoping to have 2-3” by morning. Snow wasn’t supposed to start for a few hours. Hoping the main band waits until 2-6am to maximize cooling. This is now the 7th straight month with at least non sticking snow.
  13. He’s probably like me and has you on ignore. Since you don’t contribute very much you don’t get quoted after and I don’t see it.
  14. Wait you mean a day 16 cloud forecast isn’t possible!?
  15. Sunny and 60 here in Bend. I’m glad we didn’t jump straight into the 70s. Feels plenty warm as it is after building up that cold tolerance through winter.
  16. Still funny after the 15th time doing this recently.
  17. Woke up to about 4” here. 43.5” for the season passing last years 42.2”.
  18. You guys are going to score even more than you normally do compared to us. I’m only up to about an inch and that’s just in certain areas. Heaviest snow of the night now though and should continue so should track closer to you throughout the night. Over 40” for the season now so I’m happy with back to back 40”+ years.
  19. You were included in the WWA but 4-8” was more your forecast total according to the AFD. Still think it’ll bust low.
  20. Agreed. Hoping for a last minute jog north, but I don’t mind being slightly on the north side 24 hours out. 4” seems like a fairly safe bet, maybe 5-7” if things trend favorably.
  21. 18z Nam keeps the focus to the south but yea the HRRR shows 7-8” and still snowing at the end.
  22. Wow that looks amazing. I don’t think I’ve had a 4”+ March snowfall out here.
  23. Picked up about 1.5” since yesterday in Bend. Sun is out but not melting where it’s shady. March sun doing its work in other areas. 39” on the season, just over 3” to go match last year's total. Monday could help us get there. This year is probably a B with a chance of bumping up to B+ if Monday is good. 16-17 and 92-93 are the A+ years here. 2019 was an A. Last year was probably on the border of B+/A-
  24. I definitely had a lot of fun today but it didn’t place top 3 for me. Too wind affected compared to some other days. Not saying it wasn’t great, just I’ve had better this year.
