Drive home from my buddy's place was foooooggy. Definitely thinner here at my house since the inversion was finishing mixing out. But at his in the "foothills" of Maple Leaf hill (250'-ish) there was maybe 50' of visibility. Had to drive home going 15mph or so. Turning on my brights just made it worse.
Here it shot down to 31F just after midnight with heavy frost and stars overhead. Then the fog blew in, scouring the local inversion in the Meadowbrook Valley, and we shot up to 35F, melting the frost. Now we're starting to drop again though, as the inversion has fully mixed out and we've reached equilibrium with the foggy low level thermal profile surrounding the neighborhood; once again cooling alongside areas such as yours that never dipped into the extreme low level inversion, as we all continue to radiate heat to space.
