Experienced a first in my life here weather wise today, during todays deluge of beautiful rain, out of the blue, pea+ sized hail started dumping down for a bout 10 minutes, no thunder, no lightning, just hail, weird but very cool to experience. Happened around noon amidst the heavy stratiform precip.
