This was for yesterday as I forgot to post it. But we hit the burger. Another smoky burger tomorrow maybe.

3rd straight TSS (Thick Smoke Shocker) at PDX as they failed to reach the mid 90s! Last 2 days were still good enough though for back to back 90

Conditions got significantly worse for Western Washington as the bad stuff has floated away from the foothills and is in the lowlands. Lucky for Western Washington, onshore flow will because to weakly filter in Thursday evening pushing back the smoke for the lowlands, especially near the water. It may take awhile longer for the foothills, but it is possible Friday or Saturday we could see clean air again. This of course is not going to help Central Washington and Eastern Washington and conditions will get worse. Portland has remained bad all day. Central Oregon such as around Bend and Redmond should improve Thursday, maybe to moderate, but places like Prineville will remain socked in the smoke as will much of the eastern half of the state. Western Oregon east of the Coast Range will begin to clear out a bit from Portland to Salem. The coast will start clearing out. Southern Oregon will remain bad.

The smoke has definitely kept our high temps lower. Everett was projected for 81 today, but we hit only 76F. Same with the day before, we only hit 75F. But it is also keeping the HIGH temps contained at night for warm nights. It is 11:30pm and it's still 66F.

It was horrific. But plenty of smoke. I even saw the flames burning on the mountains from the Eastside.
