  1. Last year the gradients were suppose to drive the cold air out of the Frazier but the winds never hit what was advertised and the modified air kind of stalled out around Everett. So even the day of its a toss up sometimes.
  2. I know I am new here, but he does seem to have a certain bias and is rather 'selective' with the maps he chooses to post. Am I way off base here? I apologize if I am completely wrong.
  3. Don't be greedy, you're still in the darker green.
  4. Yea, hopefully it waffles back south slightly. I am super nervous for the model runs tonight now.
  5. It will be interesting to see if Seattle can dip below 30 for a daytime high. I don't think that has happened in February since 2011.
  6. Looks good, but hopefully that low on the 17th can trend farther north.
  7. Too many pullbacks so far this winter. Not going to get excited about anything yet.
  8. I would wait for the GPS to come back around before pulling the trigger on one of those shovels.
  9. Dark Gray! That's nearly 2"! I am confident it will verify.
  10. Unfortunately this is probably closer to reality. I will still take it though!
  11. I work very close to El Antojo. I bet I could dispose of you on my lunch break and still have time to grab a burrito afterwards. You should try El Gorditos in Seattle 85th and Greenwood.
  12. I wanted to ask but was apprehensive about doing so.
  13. That was a great storm in 2008 for people in the Clearview area. They received 10-12" of snow during that April event. I picked up my current dog as a puppy that day in Bothell and there was just some slushy snow on the ground.
  14. So when is this La Nina suppose to end? I am ready for the Summer torchfest. I picked up a new respirator that is suppose to be excellent for filtering smoke particles.
  15. What is the resolution on that? ^ I feel like this is going to be a scenario where you're going to need a couple hundred feet and some decent precip rates in the Seattle area during the early morning hours to pull off 1-2 inches.
  16. Please don't zoom in on the depressing shades of gray.
  17. WRF GFS map is out, not buying those high snowfall totals though. The GFS plumes mean from the noaa site show about the same totals as that Euro snowfall map.
  18. I am definitely not going to hold my breath for anything close to 12 inches but would be happy with even a smaller event with 2-3 inches. North Seattle does 'okay' with fringe events due to being 250-300 feet. Last year was a rather big letdown for areas Seattle and South with the models backing off the snowfall at the last minute if I recall correctly.
  19. That November storm was great. It ended up over performing, North Seattle had a good 3 inches with blowing snow and highs in the upper 20s that night.
  20. D**n that cell SW of Seattle seems to be losing juice before it even gets here.
  21. Temps are real marginal right now, 36-37 in north seattle. Fun to watch it fall though.
  22. Yea, just had a heavy band of groupel pass through North Seattle near the mall.
