    Oh yes please and it will be during the weekend also! 60-65 and some sun sounds very pleasant and a nice change from this windy cold rain pattern.

    Don't get caught up in the (surface) details, 925/850 winds or temps, they only lead to depression. Stick to the snow maps, except Tims GEM maps, ignore those.

    787 days now since Seattle had a decent event with greater than 3" of snowfall. Late time was that amazing storm that hit the day after Christmas in 2021. Hopefully the winter of 24-25 can end the streak. I would hate to reach 1000 days, that would be very depressing.

    I am pretty excited about that! It would be nice to have some above average temp spring days to get out and enjoy. I was sick from May to the end of July last year so My prime spring/summer time was eaten away sadly.

    Once Feb ends I am the same way. I switch into Tim mode.

    What is the NOAA interactive map link, with the dew points, temp, wind, precip overlays? I can't seem to find it and lost my bookmark.

    We have reached that point where I am praying for 0.5 to 1.0 inches of sleet in Seattle. Desperate times indeed.

    Haha GFS at it again. My MSN weather app took the bait, getting 1-2 inches of fantasy snow now.

    The GFS has fooled me more times than I can count. I should just stick to the EPS, I can't help myself though, I can checking out the GFS regardless.

    Yea, I have had enough of the GFS and it's gaggle of low resolution members. Stick the the Euro/EPS.

    Trending even colder, crazy. Its going to be some freezing walks to and from the bus.

    It somewhat resembles the top of the space needle. Is that a good omen, probably not.

    That wouldn't be the worst outcome. A slow moderation with nothing to show or straight to freezing rain would also be possible.

    That was a juicy system that came in with perfect placement. The type of snowstorm you get only a handful of times in a lifetime in Seattle. Total was just over 8" in Seattle I think?

    Definitely not on board yet. I will update again on Wednesday night, hopefully it is sorted out by then and I can make a final determination.

    With this potential deep pool of cold I just hope we don't get another Dec 2022 freezing rain scenario. That was NOT fun.

    Seattle was screwed over so many times last season I really don't bother with GFS snow maps anymore. "The thrill is gone".
