DMX has my county staying below zero from Saturday 5 pm through Tuesday noon. If pans out it will no doubt be the longest period below zero of my life. My home has dropped below zero 7 of the past 8 nights. 11 below being the lowest.

Ottumwa airport was -13 at 5am. A stratus deck was from hwy 34 south so my home was -7. Last Friday night my home davis pro was -11. January 2019 it fell to -27. I live along a tributary to the desmoines river. I fully expect a -20 out of this air mass. -

Bottom 6 inches is solid ice. On Dec 28th we had a snow, rain, thunder sleet mix followed by single digits. Its still there! Late Jan we had 2 rains totalling 1.6 inches mixed in with snow after snow. A true glacier!!!

Since the massive ice/snow on Dec 28th . Over 35 inches of snow since Dec 28th and 2 big rains of 1.6 inches last week. -

My high today was 36f. And look how far south I am. My lawn has 13 inches on it. Im in a very wooded location. Definitely not KS -
For sure.. Ive had 6 snow events here since Dec 28.. Now the rapid fire begins. Very reminiscent of 2014!

Here just west of Ottumwa we had a slow start and missed out on the earlier snows that Desmoines and Ames got. But since Dec 28th its been crazy! 29.5 right now 2019-2020 42.0 2018 -2019 72.4 Oct and Nov 2018 were incredible and set the tone for what I think was a record season here. Cuad Cities area crept past me at end of that season. I dont accept the official Ottumwa numbers as I have seen them to be in error.. Im consistently higher. I think they are daily numbers measure each morning. Not every 6 hour intervals.

Dmx gonna be late to the table again? Looks not another plowable event here.
