  1. All I’m hearing is the worldly weeklies blowtorch us until 2018.
  2. Good to see it’s back to snow at Stevens Pass anyway...was nice to get that torch over with fairly quickly. Now let’s get that atmosphere reset and let’s get some big time cold December action swinging down like 2008 or 1990!
  3. Hopefully the Camano Island radar being down like it is right now won’t be a chronic problem this winter... Currently 45 breezy degrees and dry at the moment.
  4. Great to see! Someone posted the teleconnection graphs earlier and it didn’t look like we stood a chance through most of December.
  5. The rivers up here are experiencing the worst flooding since early November 2006.
  6. My official forecast...Olympia north will get blasted the week of Christmas that will turn into a 1949-50 massive event.
  7. We have hit the 40’s!!! Down to 48 with moderate rain still.
  8. Tim’s first freeze with come on Dec. 24th when we plunge into a deep deep freeze with continued snowfalls that last until the end of January!
  9. Still raining...still warm. 55 degrees. Silvana flooded yesterday due to the Stilly spilling its banks, had to take another route home from work.
  10. Same place where I live now, we are not quite 300ft and are between I-5 and the sound west of Smokey Point. We do very well with PSCZ's
  11. And its only 39 degrees currently at the summit of Snoqualmie!
  12. I would measure every day and that was the total. If I remember correctly it was 27" on top of the car on Christmas morning. (If you look closely you can see the hole in the snow on top of the car where I stuck the tape measure in I just noticed haha)
  13. I topped out at 34”! This was Christmas morning, I had parked my Jetta away from the driveway on December 12th in hopes that I would just be using my 4wd Tahoe to get around for a long time and wanted the Jetta out of the way...I was right!
  14. I love going back to his blogs in 2008 and reading about all the warmth in late November. http://cliffmass.blogspot.com/2008/11/very-warm-air.html And then his blog just 7 days later... http://cliffmass.blogspot.com/2008/12/major-changes-next-friday.html
  15. Thinking back after reliving the Nov. 2010 event on the other thread that the 2006-2012 time period was awesome up here with great to epic events each month from November-February... Then 2013-2016 happened Last year was a little better but it lacked any big events...i'm ready for a big event again!
  16. Just a couple of weeks ago that was a very snowy cam!
  17. From NWS Seattle... This may or may not keep you on the edge of your seat. But.... If Seattle's low temperature (so far) today remains at 56 degrees, it will be the all-time warmest low temperature for the month of November in our entire climate record going back to the early 1890s.
  18. Wasn't it today 7yrs ago that we had the snow and flash freeze? Traffic inches along Mercer Street headed for I-5 on Nov. 22, 2010. Some drivers just gave up. (Dean Rutz / The Seattle Times) http://seattletimes.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/today/files/2014/11/11222010-620x413.jpg
