Figured it was action packed by the amount of posts this evening haha!

A lovely drive to the Tri Cities and back today...even though it was 40 degrees near Cle Elum (the first pic) the trees were still caked in snow.

Only 40 degrees currently here, the cloud deck coming over at sunrise has really helped to cap the temps.

Sounds like skiers will be enjoying Crystal Mountain by the end of the week. From almost burning up from wildfires less than 2 months ago to deep powder and ski ready!

I have news coverage from that event on VHS! Pretty awesome stuff! I had nearly 2 feet fall in just a 12hr timespan. it was epic!

I think spitting the weather groups by region is not a bad way to go since our winters are so incredibly different. Last year being a prime example, Oregon/SW Wa got hammered while us up north could hardly buy an inch of slop. And the opposite being the case a few years ago. So yeah good idea!

Yeah it’s annoying. That old Chevy van has no insulation or headliners so the metal just condensates when it sits and just becomes a little greenhouse inside. Luckily the van that I use to travel the pass each week is a 3yr old loaded Sprinter with the heated windshield so I never have to worry about it!

One of the vans at work which has been in the full sun for hours with very little melting to my surprise.

I noticed at work the little bit of snow that accumulated yesterday is having a hard time melting even in the sun.

About an inch with tres covered up at Lake Goodwin still. Currently 30.

Currently 29...first hard freeze of the season.

Well the good news is that the temp is dropping now...down to 34.
