  1. About an inch here. No biggie! On to the next one please! This is not our storm. This is a DC, Philly special where 8-12 inches will fall there. NYC is a very close call. Several inches there expected (3-5in) last I check.
  2. My area is for a 2-4inch snowfall tomorrow night into early Sunday morning. Brings my season totals in the low to mid 80s.
  3. GGEM and UKMET latest runs actually went north versus earlier runs. An improvement.
  4. Right now I am forecast to get zero inches. Storm is too far south. Lets see what happens. East Coast gets clobbered. A 12"+ storm for them from DC to Boston.
  5. Looks like the PV will suppress all systems. I am seeing this to be a frigid, dry forecast. Ugh!
  6. Tom..do you see any potential in terms of heavy snowfall in SEMI with the 3-2 to 3-3 storm? My seasonal so far is an incredible 79.3" and the all time record snowiest season is I believe 93.5". Right now, I am standing in 3rd snowiest winters ever. I am 5 tenths away from being the 2nd snowiest winter. So far the models are not showing anything, but hopefully by next week they will start.
  7. My forecast is calling for 4-6". I'll sign for that.
  8. Final snowfall this morning 1.7inches.
  9. Im forecast to receive near 6inches from this storm, IF NOT MORE.
  10. This clipper is giving me some moderate snow all morning and approaching an 1" now. Very wintery outside.
  11. I have a strong feeling that winter is coming to a close. My highs end of next week are projected to be in the upper 40s to near 50. BA Bye snowpack.
  12. My temps each day are forecasted colder and colder.
  13. Ironically, my forecast for next week shows Ice. Hopefully, as time gets closer, it will be all snow and colder.
  14. I have noticed that there are some people on here who have just had enough of this harch, long winter that we've been having and I dont get why they want this winter to end.. We have been having such a great winter with records broken all over. I.E my average snowfall per winter is 45.4" and so far im up to 68.9". Also, January for my area was an all time record snowiest ever. I can go on and on. So, why stop having this superb winter and not go for more records, I mean, we came this far, why not go to full stretch. I hope we get more arctic airmasses, if not more severe than early January and also get clobbered with a few more massive snowstorms I have huge piles here and I am not about ready to let warm air come here and melt that away, at least not until mid April. I definitely want 2 severe blizzards to hit my area and bury everything. I want my piles to reach 20 feet. All I am trying to say is that why give up this great winter that we have been having now in mid February??? Makes no sense. Might as well continue this beautiful stretch right into April, at least mid April. Lets go out with a bang this winter folks and stay strong. Come May, we will all be saying what a long, great winter this was...WINTER 2013-14 was one for the record books. Peace! Tom.....That system late next week I hear it might be a real juicy one, but too far south for our area and affecting the east coast?!! Hope that changes and tracks our way. Still plenty of time for changes.
  15. Tom...believe it or not, they have me for snow for next Thurs, Fri and Sat with a 60% chance. WOW.! Cant wait to see how this will pan out.
  16. Now, this is something you dont see everyday! Amazing photo indeed! Ocean wave image looks like man's face A spooky face is created by the spray from a wave hitting the harbor in Dorset, England, Feb. 4th, 2014. http://l.yimg.com/os/publish-images/news/2014-02-05/b066f68f-4fe9-4684-ac51-ee900e6b787b_wave-face.jpeg
  17. I agree 100%. Nam rules this winter! It has been doing a great job with previous storms too.
  18. Jaster220....Yes, the Nam did a good job. Nam is my friend this winter. Roads are really bad here. I guess they are short of salt.
  19. Final total snowfall from Nika is 10.6inches IMBY. For season im at 65.1".
  20. Still snowing likely and currently have 10.3inches. Funny they still have me under a Winter Weather Advisory. Wish I knew what they are smoking. Anyhow, beautiful storm.
  21. You are absolutely correct. I was forecasted 3-5inches and forecasters were saying suburbs of Detroit are looking more at 3 and 5 near Detroit. Big time bust! Im approaching 9inches Dom. The Nam did a great job. I remember yesterday morning, my forecaster said: "The Nam is screaming high numbers for the area, but we are not going to count it since its the only model forecasting them". That model was calling for 8"+ totals and they came true. Very pleased with this storm once again this winter. This winter as of now I am standing at 64.1inches thus far. Incredible!
  22. Dom...8.2inches and still coming down moderately to heavy at times. Visibilities are very low where this morning it was down to near zero at times. Total whiteout conditions indeed. Drifts are huge (1-2feet at spots). Its a winter wonderland out there.
  23. White -Out conditions here folks. Snowfall rates of at least 2 to 3 inches an hr. and have received so far 6.4inches and still counting. Drifts as high as over a foot. Incredible out there right now. I am surprised that Im still under a Winter Weather Advisory. This should be a Winterstorm WARNING.
