  1. Make sure you eat at LeRoy's Blue Whale. Dank AF. Also the pizza place in Waldport has amazing garlic knots.
  2. I think Sequim gets even less in the Olympic shadow.
  3. Even though there were sprinkles here, it didn't even measure a trace. The streak continues for the central and south valley.
  4. If that f***** vortex keeps persisting through the summer it eventually has to get booted in a good direction at some point.
  5. Make sure you stay away from the PNW from Nov-Mar if it works the same in the winter.
  6. Aaaand now completely dry. Looks like things will start to break up later on.
  7. Smoke moving off to the east now. Stars are beautiful. Meteor shower hits its peak in the next 2 days. Enjoying what I can since clouds will be an issue now.
  8. Gotta wonder what the insurance folks were thinking when they got the phone calls about this one?
  9. Everybody ok in the south sound? Heard there was an unauthorized take off and a plane crashed into the sound.
  10. Western flank of the smoke is right overhead. Would really love it to move off to the east so we can finally have a good starwatching night.
  11. 91F in Monmouth. Was only supposed to be 85F. I wonder what people in decades past would think about how many 90+ days the valley has had?
  12. Really feels like this is going to just happen every summer now.
  13. I fully expect Oregon to break a high temp record in the next few years if the strong west ridge pattern persists every summer. Gotta think the 108F all time high here will eventually fall soon.
  14. I can see the back line of the smoke!!! Central Valley almost done with it!
  15. That makes no sense. Doesn't Eugene average like 5 inches a year while Springfield is like 2.5? Eugene has more NE wind upsloping while Springfield is blocked by the mountains between there and Sweet Home and the most significant snow events are ones with offshore or NE winds with the south valley in the deformation bands. Also, there was a decent swath just south of Monmouth, down to like Junction City and over to Albany that had no snow in any of the events this past winter.
