I just made a very basic, very easy to read and understand post about the consistency of Winter patterns, based on 20 analogs. That is a topic of discussion that anyone can respond to, I spent time and energy putting it together, so as to present an interesting analysis for others to understand. That you'd rather see the 50th video of Jim Carrey saying "so there's a chance!" instead, is perhaps why you don't get your Seattle NWS posting here or whatever else. Phil does know what's he's talking about. He's spent time because he's interested in it and he wants to share it with others. You need to be more respectful as a "leader", you sound like a weenie.

Maybe @StormchaserChuck1 was right and his theory of a multidecadal regime where the west drys out and warms up is right. We may be looking at the late 2040s to 2050s as our next window of any significant cold. I’ll probably shut this place down, for real this time. This glacier is not melting at all, nearly hit 40°F today and the ice sheet did not shrink one iota, still ~ 8” depth. Can walk on it without falling through. Definitely haven’t seen this since February 2007. And there is another arctic assault coming up this weekend so it’s only going to glaciate further.
