Interesting to see how the MJO is finally hugging the colder phases for once...well colder if it were winter. But its somewhat what you would expect with the warmest water going east.

No Super Bowl repeat

Nice day. Got up to 80F and beautiful now clouding up. Lots of seizures today so I'm not sure if that's some sort of an omen. I'll be up in Seattle on Sept 10 so very much looking forward to that.

A cloudy shocker today as the sun never arrived. Rare to see PDX cooler than both OLM and SEA in the warm season. 10 degrees cooler today than forecasted!
