So ENSO 3.4 is basically the QB and right now we have a sub-optimal game manager. A lot of interceptions at bad times, leading to lots of persistent ALs with Oregon on the warm side. During other times we will be in the mothafuckkin Rex Block party. And at some point, I truly think the special teams unit could turn out to literally win multiple ballgames like the 2025 Jets. Question is to just how much the victory is by. Multiple possessions thanks to special teams alone would be Arctic blast status.

All evidence would point to a nation-wide torch, with the SW and SE having the best odds of seeing better than average winter weather. Sierra Nevada is best bet. That being said, ma nature has proven time and again to have surprises up her sleeve. The most common theme with mega Ninos (other than being massive torches for most the country) is they tend to have some absolutely bonkers storms with prodigious precip. I would not be surprised to see a record-breaking snowfall in the upper Midwest or Rockies this fall, and perhaps something equally impressive elsewhere mid/late winter.

Even if a +QBO is bad for us, it sits well with me that it will be even worse for the East Coast. We don't need a -NAO slamming them with record snowfall.
