A wet and chilly final ride for 2026. The spiderwebs don’t show up well in the picture, but there were plenty of them! They were crawling up my leg as I was riding over to the boat launch.

Its going to get rather chilly, if not cold here Thursday nite. Lows could bottomed down in spots into the upper 30s (in the colder areas) and my area, I am looking at lows between 40-45F under clear skies.

With a super El Nino in stored this winter, we will experienced some wild swings in weather here in MI and also on the NE coastline and other locations. Hopefully with so many storms hitting the southland, when one hit storm takes that favorable track for my area, there will be arctic air in place or just cold enough air around for an all out snowstorm. Very interesting scenario taking shape. I would not be surprised if my area goes above normal snowfall, even in a super El Nino.
