  3. Had the fattest snowflakes I’ve ever seen in northeast Seattle near Lake City just 10 minutes ago. Seems to be mixed precip now.
  4. Weather underground just changed totals to 1-3 inches for seattle when it was less than an inch about 2 hours ago.
  5. With all this baseball talk, any Mariner’s fans remember the motto from two seasons ago - “Control the Zone” or “C the Z”? I sure do and It’s honestly all I can think of when I see CZ. Also, snowing at a really good clip in Wedgwood.

  7. Huge, fat flakes have been falling consistently for the past 30-45 minutes in NE Seattle. Possibly 1 inch for the night including the snow pellet accumulation.

  10. After all day with no rain and heavy snow, Wedgwood in NE Seattle has ice pellets. Picked up about 6 inches since. Ion. Over 14 total from past few storms.
  11. Still snowing strongly in NE Seattle (Wedgwood). New snow is boot high deep. Have over a foot in some areas in my yard.
  12. The January 2016 blizzard in Philly? I was living right outside center city at the time in Grad Hospital. Amazing time. Recorded about 26 inches in my little yard. Snow drift completely buried my car. Like, couldn't see a single area of the car exposed. Great time.
  13. Unreal. Have over a foot of snow from combo of past 3 storms (Fri-today).
  14. Unrelenting, heavy snow for the past 4 hours in NE Seattle. Crossing fingers that it never transitions.
  15. NWS Twitter really digging in with the transition forecast and keep retweeting people saying they've transitioned to rain. Want to show they were right I suppose.
