  1. Things are brewing to the east and south. Wow. Those dark clouds are right over downtown Everett and the port.
  2. It has been a few minutes and the roads are starting to clear, but you can still see the heavy slush buildup on the sides and in the parking lot. Stunning this hail event we had.
  3. The over hour long hail event left a THICC slush behind.
  4. Still hailing here in Everett. There was a short break for a few mins then it picked up again.
  5. Still hailing. Coming down hard. This might be the longest I have ever seen hail fall and at this size. Over a half and hour now officially. 2023-04-01 13.38.58.mp4
  6. Hail continues to fall. Here are two video clips. Temperature is 40F in Everett. Feels much colder. At noon the temp was 45F. 2023-04-01 13.39.27.mp4
  7. Has been hailing for about a half an hour. Everything is white. Has not let up.
  8. Has been hailing here in Everett for about ten minutes. Big hail.
  9. Good or bad depending on your viewpoint. Nonetheless, here we go.
  10. It has been hail-snowing since 2:40pm non-stop here. Yet it is 36F degrees...
  11. NASCAR race was postponed today due to it snowing and raining in Fontana. Never saw that coming.
  12. They are expecting some snow in Western Washington this weekend. Here are some predicted accumulations by Sunday morning.
  13. The snow is coming down in parts the Lower Mainland but it isn't sticking to the roads. Abbotsford, Vancouver, Langley, the roads are all bare or just wet. The real snow fall is on Vancouver Island, and in a localized region. Victoria is seeing a dusting. While other more rural areas are seeing the snow come down and begin to consume the roads such as the camera below south of Naniamo. Or check out the snow-crews working on Shawnigan Lake Road. Further north towards Campbell River, the snow is coming down, but the roads seem bare or wet. It's a snowy time on Vancouver Island!!
  14. Checking some cameras, we got snarling traffic in Vancouver over the I-5 bridge, I assume for cars spinning out in the snow. The roads are completely snow covered. Whatever the issue is, avoid Vancouver right now, traffic is horrible heading south from either freeway. Head north just a bit to Ridgefield and the condition continue to be snowy. But all the snow disappears less then a dozen miles north once you get to Kalama and Longview. The roads are just wet. Cameras show non-snowy conditions up into the Seattle metro with Olympia, Tacoma, Seattle, and Everett simply being wet. No snow on the sides of the roads. North of Everett, there is now snow. It's cold but no moisture! On the Olympic Peninsula, snow again appears in areas north of Queets. The Hood Canal is seeing some snow on the sides of the roads, but nothing on the roads. The snow is very localized to mainly Southwestern Washington and up the Columbia Gorge a bit such as North Bonneville. The snow gets less and less as you head towards White Salmon until it is merely a dusting at Dallesport. As for the Portland metro, it's a winter wonderland for a change with white scenes across the PDX. But while the snow remains, the roads simply become wet very quickly as you head east, south, or west of downtown. It might be snowing/raining in parts of Eugene, but it isn't sticking according to the cameras.
  15. Hard to know for sure how much of this is actually snow or just being nothing being picked up from the radar. Nonetheless, it's pretty cool! It almost looks like it's spinning as a mini cell or something. Using some new radar angles tonight! Whoop!
  16. Thursday snow forecast for Western Washington appears to be next to nothing for the central sound. Some pretty decent numbers for the Peninsula. I am honestly surprised that they might even get that much! Coming into this, I didn't think this snow even would amount to much of anything, and that has held up for the most part. It's a shame our days of snow are quickly dwindling. The radar also shows some interesting movement and it does pick up some of the snowfall. So check that out. Hope everyone has a good day.
  17. Lazy snow flakes at about 5am this morning. It snowed from then till about 12:30pm here today at sea level, but nothing stuck and the grass and roads remained just wet. Something peaceful about snow though. I love the stuff. DSCN2434.MP4
  18. This is from about twenty minutes ago just showing the colors of the clouds. You can see rain falling over the water and snow off towards the north. I would advise playing with your sound off, it's pretty noisy. Just a warning for anyone with a headset in their ears. DSCN2432.MP4
  19. Daylight turned into night all of a sudden here. It just started pouring down rain, but it is mixed with very wet snow. Edit: It has switched back to rain. The snow lasted a few minutes.
