  1. I don't post a lot (obviously) but if there was a seasonally adjusted platinum level lurker status, my hat would be in the ring... Temp of 37.0 and dp of 24. East winds have been gusting just a little more in the last couple hours. We're on the northern end of the west slope at Mt Tabor in east PDX so we get muted northerlies at our house during east wind events - like an eddy in a river, the source presents "weird".
  2. SE PDX at about 300'- starting to stick on cars and veggies. Temp 33.6/DP 31. Temp has dropped about 4 deg in just the last hour. Snowing pretty steady now
  3. Still lightly snowing the fluffiest of fluffy fluffs...at 35.5 with a DP of 30. Still trying to wrap my brain around that...
  4. Here's why I'm sure the crazy Euro maps will verify in PDX: Our entire company of 90+ people is moving physical locations this Friday, Saturday and Monday. We're leaving the central east side and moving farther east, right along the Columbia Gorge. Sooooo screwed...
  5. 32.1 Been snowing and sticking for an hour or so...probably pushing an 1" at this point
  6. Snow/Sleet combo in SE PDX. Temp 29 DP 22. Roads and sidewalks turning white
  7. Geez, I step away for a while and now all of a sudden frozen things are back on the table mid week?!? I need to hang out with you guys more often... Portland AFD: http://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=PQR&issuedby=PQR&product=AFD&format=CI&version=1&glossary=1
  8. Light fluffy flurries been falling for the last 10 minutes or so. 24.7 with dp at 13
  9. light dusting starting to build up in since the flurries started an hour and a half ago...
  10. Generally speaking, what's the mechanism that cause storms to "drift" north as they approach the coast beyond the predictive modeling?
  11. Anemometer has been frozen since 1:00 today. Rain gauge is full of bullet proof "snow". And the ice coated thermodohickey is reading a ground breaking half a degree above freezing since the first time in quite some time! Freezing rain FTW!
  12. Snowing hard now in inner SE PDX...starting to whiten things up a bit pretty quick
  13. 27.4...dumping rain...19mph gust outta the NE. Feels bassackwards to have 7" of snow on the ground and wishing that it would hurry up and get warmer...
  14. So THIS is where all the cool kids hang out! Geeze, I step away from Western for a month and everyone disappears!
