    I'm sure the immediate west coast of the island does worse. At least we are in direct path during cold outflow events.

    Yup started on the evening of the 21st here in Victoria as well..what an epic 10 day period that was here.

    Currently in Maui right now and can confirm the weather is beautiful.

    It was a nice little event but highs were a little above freezing here in Victoria and very little snow for everyone. 16-17 had quite a few events like that. The cold was just not notable for any of the events. Don't get me wrong though I still very much enjoyed that winter.

    The last real good Fraser river event was Jan 2012. 16-17 had lots of outflow but nothing notably cold. I feel we are due.

    Chilly day here in victoria ...currently 50 degrees at 3pm with a dp of 31 degrees with outflow winds.

    Hope currently 42 with rain and outflow winds and Abbotsford is 57 with SW winds.

    major snow events in 96 and 06 but the winter of 12/13 was a dud in Vic.

    Although it is light and not sticking I'm still enjoying the fact that is snowing in the middle of the day on feb 23 with a fairly strong south east wind blowing....and the fact the Wednesday snow over performed.

    I'm at work now so I'm not sure but when I left my house 45 minutes ago it was 34. I'm not expecting anything today or this weekend here. I'm liking the looks of late next week though for potentially something. What are your thoughts on next week up here.

    Ya got a dusting here...outflow currently roaring and temp is 33. Frustrating seeing snow bands to our north and south.

    It's been a very bad 4 year stretch.

    I don't believe the surface low with that one was modelled until a couple days before. Even when it was modelled it barely showed any snow for Victoria and we ended up getting quite a lot.
