EUG had 13 freezes in February

Its been that way for yrs in SE Iowa. Maybe 1 or 2 real chances of rain per month. Most dont materialize. 1" plus rains have become a extreme rarity. The average 1" rains per yr seems to be between 3 or 4 since 2012 .Which to me is incredle! 20 days between rains is the new norm. And Im much closer to the gulf than nebraska or kc. We started march very wet, but now appears march will be another drier than average month!!!! Its shocking how many months are now below normal rainfall! Wet weeks or wet months can simply be counted with my fingers OVER YEARS!!! WHY HAS THIS SPECIFIC AREA DEVIATED FROM 60 YR NORMALS MORE THAN ANYWHERE!!!
