These pictures just gave me the chills! I know exactly where you took them in both places...if I recall, the Sedona pic is off of the winding road up to the airport, right? Gosh, I really love going up to Sedona and the Red Rock country. The Grand Canyon pick I believe is the west end of the South Rim trail loop (Bright Angel Trail?) that drops off towards the Colorado River. It's been a while since I hiked that trail from the south entry point on the South Rim (South Kaibab Trail), then all the way down into the river, then back up the west end of the South Rim trail. It took our group exactly 12 hours from 7am to 7pm to hike that trail. My goodness was that an epic hike, not to mention, a very exhausting one as well. So glad to hear your enjoying Arizona. Enjoy the rest of your trip up into Utah! You will absolutely LOVE the Canyonlands and Arches from what I've been told. That's on my bucket list to visit.
Good because it hasn't started out well up here at all - 3rd day this week seeing snow covered ground! I thought April was the month we'd turn a corner but that corner's still white. Nothing like snow on the x-way in April. Heard that Marshall hasn't even had plow piles since February
