I’m not to sold on the 80F water temp readings being reported from any lake currently. My small backyard above ground pool was only up to 82F this afternoon. But the idea of 74F for surface water on a lake doesn’t seem too outlandish. 2 buoys in the southern Strait of Georgia are showing 66F right now and they will occasionally crack 70F during mid summer.

Yesterday was my birthday and nobody from the forum gave me a cent. Don’t hold your breath.
