We will have to see how the rest of the summer into the fall plays out. But no a heat wave in our area is not typical in the summer going into a strong El Nino. But that said the 1987/88 El Nino did have some heat waves in June and July of 1987 and that winter was not a warm winter here in west Michigan. We shall see.

Beautiful thing going on right now. Seattle forecast has no days over 70F! I'm all for it. But usually we seem to then balance out with some hot temps after . . . hopefully not.
