Excellent video! There was no snow from Feb 1996-Nov 2003. Longest snow drought of my life for the metro area. Though we are kinda more than halfway there with no snow in Springfield since Dec 2021 aside from very few, zero-impact events that melt off the roads before sunrise. Even Dec 2021 melted off the roads during the day and re-froze at night 3 straight nights. Hasn't been snow on the ground all day since Feb 2019 and it hasn't snowed with a day entirely below freezing since Jan 2017. All of these streaks are embarrassingly awful.

It’s legitimately insane. From the data I can find, Paris put up a +8F in July (hottest on record)… after putting up a +6F in June (also hottest on record) Paris average temps are a roughly matched to PDX (I think Paris has slightly cooler days but also slightly warmer nights)
