The good old days!
-
Awesome! Almost seems surreal. If the amounts models are spitting out do verify, I believe this would be our biggest hit since GHD 1.
-
That map is incredible! it's been a long time since I have seen a storm like that forecasted around here. From storms like this in the past, I think you still are very likely to see some decent snow out of this.
-
I here ya, saw on the local news that we have only received 2.8" since November 11th Crazy! Hopefully this coming storm will deliver some much needed snow. Its odd that even clippers have been few and far between, they usually deliver majority of our seasons snowfall.
-
Canadian does as well. Hopefully we can connect with colder air this go around.
-
The Euro has this all day. ICON further south, GFS further north. Comical
-
What's the Euro showing? That's the only model that seems to get it somewhat close.
-
If there's no snow it mine as well be warm.
-
Same here! Looking forward to some snow even if it's a couple inches at a crack. Anything is better than bare ground.
-
I agree. As exciting as November snow events are, they always seem to throw a wrench in December/ early January snowfall. Best to have the snow start in December. I think the last time a snowy November continued throughout the entire winter here in SE WI. was 07-08.

Awesome! Looks like a wet snow.

What time does the snow let up in SE Wisconsin?

The RGEM kinda looks like a cutter, Sw-ne. Looking forward to see what this LE can produce. -

Grab a beer and wait for the lake effect. That looks to be our best chance with the weekend system in southern Wisconsin. We might score .5-1" Thursday with the first wave. -

Today was a good day. According to the models everyone was a winner at one point. -

Cmc fills the snow hole in Wisconsin. Going to be a long week of inconsistent models. -

Bring on the clippers! They usually produce, at least in SE WI. -
Currently have 2" in Waukesha. North of hwy 94 there is anywhere from 3-4" it's snowing at decent rate. Looking forward to this week!
-
MKE picked up between 3-5". It was a white out for about 45 minutes.
-
Received 3" of snow yesterday, still waiting on the 80 degree weather you claim is coming. Do you have a time frame to back your prediction?
-
Because the GFS has been so accurate this winter?? I'll believe it when its 80.lol
-
Bring it. I hope March brings at least 15", it's to early for spring.

Winter 2016 Medium to Long Range Discussion; 5+ days out

I'm betting March is a good month for snow. The GFS has been showing a system around 3/1 for the last week consistently. My guess is the first 2 week's of March dump alot of snow. Until then expect rain and spring temps.
