Age of Empires. Looked like the second one. Great game.

This conversation happens every year. Summer weather and more specifically June are what drive fire season.

They were open for 10 days in 2014-15 after being open for 38 days in 13-14. It was a rough couple years. I don’t even think Willamette opened.

This could be the best storm in a couple years. I won’t be up all night though, looks like the fun is in the mid morning hours.

About 2.5” in SE Bend this morning. Woke up at 5 to watch soccer right as it started. Had to take a picture before my dog runs around and “ruins” the snow. 8.5” of snow this month along with 1.77” of precip.

Hey my daughter is named Cora too. Looks a little older than my girl.

It’s been lightly snowing here for a couple hours. Dirt is white and grass is starting to turn white as well.

SE Bend. Pretty much right along city limits.

Got my November day in before I leave town for a couple weeks. Temps in the low 20s with a strong breeze really made it feel like winter. Can’t wait for lift access in a few weeks.

Yup. This is the type of set up where we could be in for a surprise. I’m on the south edge of Bend so I can really benefit from the upslope flow here.

About 2.5” of snow on the south side of Bend. Rain started around 3am and transitioned to snow around 5-6am. More precip in the first 9 hours of November than all of October.

Hope so. Just saw a lot of new fire starts out that way and figured it would only take one taking off to make it a bit smokier. Definitely been better thus far and not approaching the terrible smoke of recent past

Not looking great for my trip to Kalispell next week. Lots of fires in Idaho and MT that will have a week to grow.

Yea I think if it was something new it would be reported at this point. Most of the fires are to the SW and I thought the flow was a little more SE. Guess not.

Yup. Getting that nearby smoke smell that I grew up smelling in southern CA.

Skiing at Timberline tomorrow and sleeping in the climbers lot tonight. Fun watching the storm pass by to the south.

Ahem.

I’ll be up in Kalispell the last weekend of the month. Hoping for a taste of fall, particularly at night.
