Happy 4th The official H/L yesterday at GR was 81/68 there was 0.15” of rainfall the higher wind was 24 MPH out of the SW. The sun was out 50% of the time. For today the average H/L is 83/62 the record high of 100 was set in 1897 and 1911, 2012 came just short with a high of 99. The coldest high of 64 was set in 1970. The record low of 45 was set in 1972 the warmest low of 78 was set in 2012. The most rainfall of 1.74” was in 1903. Last year the H// was 89/62.
The overnight low here in MBY was 65 and that is the current reading with clear skies.
We are going to take a road trip starting tomorrow. I have tickets to see the Tigers play in Cincinnati on Saturday and then we are going to see a niece I have not seen in several years in London, Kentucky.
In spite of a 3F temp underperformance this fine afternoon, the weather these next few weeks could perhaps be the beginning of one of our hottest summers ever. If our perma ridge comes back, enraged by Phil's Mexican death ridge, it could be a fiery one!
At least this year winds are generally blowing in from offshore. Very 2021-like in that even though there were fires, the smoke was ejected east. Also a hot La Niña summer.
